Since graduating from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1994 Jess Marie Walker has continued to work as an interdisciplinary artist allowing the content of her work to filter between mediums, each referring to the next. Along with the production and exhibition of her studio work she has done curatorial work for art exhibitions, installations and performance programming, designed graphics for herself and other companies, coordinated/instructed special project art classes, and coordinated contemporary art festivals, competitions, and workshops.
