B-Side Gallery Exhibit

 The Shelby County Arts Council is proud to announce the continuation of the "B-Side Art Show" from the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center in Tuscaloosa.  Works by four of the artists will be the feature of the Annual Liberty Day Gallery Exhibit opening June 24, 2016 and will be on display through July 28, 2016.  The event is free and open to the public.   Gallery Hours are Monday - Thursday, 10am - 5pm. 

The opening reception is scheduled for June 24, 2016 from 6:00 pm t0 8:00 pm  with live music by The Goods and free refreshments. Everyone can enjoy the show and stick around in Columbiana for Music on Main. Free Live Music on Main Street in Columbiana within walking distance of our gallery!

The unifying theme is simply music, with interpretations manifesting into artwork utilizing various mediums, from painted canvas to woodcarving. Brock works in acrylics and canvas, painting vivid scenes in what has been called a “pop surrealist” style, he said.

In the case of the exhibit, it's “the flip-side of fine art,” said Tony Brock, artist and founder of the exhibit. “The B Side” showcases undiscovered gems. 

The SCAC Gallery exhibit will includes works by Tony Brock, Bruce Andrews,  Jeff Bertrand, and Nelson Grice (sculptor).
